We have been working on the garden since we arrived on the peninsula. With help from our friends at Traverse Outdoors we have lots of beds to plant, ample irrigation, and space for a modest lawn (takes 10 minutes to cut). Our plantings are a combination of old (Midland) and new (Grand Traverse County). We are especially fond of the hydrangeas; they do so well in this micro climate of Grand Traverse Bay.
