Henry Wayne at Izaacks

Henry was a good sport to hang out with the Michigan Gang as the talk turned to fly patterns, casting techniques, leader formulas and micro brews.

The Mo is fishing well for those who can break the code

More from the Missouri

Steve has not fished much since becoming a Dad. He can still get the drift. He got this big boy to eat on the first cast.
I think it was the drift boat captain getting him very close that sealed the deal!!!

Notes from the Missouri River

We had a wonderful eight days of fishing on the Missouri River near Craig Montana. The Mo hasn't fished this well in years. We are hoping the high water years continue.
I had a chance to fish with my son Steve who lives in Missoula; the old man did most of the rowing and Steve did most of the catching. It was great to see the whole family again, especially grandson Henry. We are planning another reunion in September.
